Lord Hanuman is one of the most significant gods in Hinduism. He is regarded as an ardent worshipper of Lord Hanuman and the giver of Ashta Siddhis and Nine Nidhis. When someone is blessed by Lord Hanuman, then nothing can even slightly bother them. However, Lord Hanuman is considered as a Brahmachari, therefore there are certain restrictions for women while worshipping the mighty lord. 

Let us check out the list of dos and don’ts that women must follow in the worship of Lord Hanuman Ji. 

Rules For Women While Worshipping Lord Hanuman: Don’ts 

- Women must not touch the vigrah (idol) of Lord Hanuman. 

- Additionally, women must not offer panchamrit abhishek of Hanuman Ji. 

- Ladies must also not offer clothing and Yagyopaveet to Lord Hanuman as it is not permitted in Sanatan Dharma. 

- Women must also not touch Lord Hanuman's feet. This is thus because Lord Hanuman views all women as his mothers.

- Vermillion (Sindur) should not be offered by women to Lord Hanuman Ji. 

- Moreover, women must also not recite Bajrang Baan or offer chola to Bajrang Bali.

Rules For Women While Worshipping Lord Hanuman: Dos 

- Women can observe a fast on Tuesday to appease Lord Hanuman. However, avoid consuming salt and grains. 

- Women are permitted to recite Sundarkand, Hanumanashtak, and Hanuman Chalisa. 

- Women can offer flowers, lamps, and incense to Lord Hanuman. 

- Women can cook prasadam for Lord Hanuman.

- However, menstruating women must not cook bhog or offer worship to Lord Hanuman.
