Asian Games 2023 Highlights, Day 5: India's Medal Tally Reaches 25 With 6 Gold, 8 Silver And 11 Bronze

Nishant Dev, a bronze medallist at the world championships swiftly defeated his opponent from Vietnam, Phuoc Tung Bui in the men's 71kg round of 16 boxing match.

Nishant is now scheduled to face Sewonrets Quincy Mensah Okazawa in his quest for a spot in the semi-finals, with the bout set to take place on September 30 at 6:30 PM IST.

India loses to Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the R16 Knock-Out Clash. Mohammed Khalil Marran scored brace to seal the deal for the Saudi team.

Jaismine (60kg) enters the quarter-finals of the Asian Games with a RSC in round 1 decision win against Saudi Arabia's S Ghazwan Hadeel Ashour in the round of 16 clash.

India's Roshibina Devi Naorem will face off against China's Xiaowei Wu in Women's 60Kg Final today for a gold medal.
