Neeraj Chopra match date: India's star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will next be seen in action during the Doha Diamond League 2025, which will be held on May 16. Lots of star athletes would be seen competing in this event, and of these, four Indians would also be participating. The men's discus throw is the first event to be held in Doha. There are other field events which will be held after it. The first event will feature well-known athletes. Elite throwers like Daniel Ståhl, Matthew Denny, and Kristjan Čeh will be seen in action in the men's discus throw event.
Double Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra would be seen in action against world-class javelin throwers like Julien Weber, Jakub Vadlejch, and Anderson Peters.
He will aim to begin his season on a high, where he will also be defending his World Championship title this year.

The event will be held at the place where he has received huge crowd support.
Grenada's Anderson Peters, Czechia's Jakub Vedlejch, Germany's Julien Weber and Max Dehning, Kenya's Julius Yugo, and Japan's Roderick Genki Dean have remained Chopra's rivals at major tournaments till now. But the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem, would be giving this tournament a miss.
Kishore Jena, who is India's another javelin thrower and who won a silver medal at the Asian Games, would also be seen in action.
Jena registered his personal best of 87.54m throw last year and finished in ninth position with 76.31m throw.
Chopra, who had won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics and then a silver at the Paris Olympics, first participated in this tournament way back in 2018, where he finished in fourth position by throwing at a distance of 87.43m.
Post winning the Tokyo Olympics medal way back in 2021, he had won the Doha Diamond League in 2023 and finished in second place last year. He will aim to win the Doha Diamond League title once again this year.
