The Athletics event will kick off in Asian Games 2023 on September 29, marking the Indian track and field athletes' debut in Hangzhou. The action will begin with the race walkers competing for medals.
In the shooting arena the Indian contingent will aim to increase the medal tally as the 10m Air Pistol Women and 50m Rifle 3 Position Men will be competing in both team and individual events.
In Squash, Men and women's teams have already secured at least bronze. They will vie for a spot in the finals. Tennis will witness men's doubles striving for gold, and the mixed doubles team battling for a spot in the final.

Additionally, the badminton men and women's team will seek to secure medals by winning their quarterfinal ties, while table tennis paddlers will aim to progress in singles and doubles competitions.
The women's hockey team will return for another pool match and Golfers will continue their quest with round 2 in individual and team events. The day will be packed with action, including chess, bridge, basketball, boxing, swimming, cycling Esports and handball, all featuring the Indian contingent.
