La Liga 2025: FC Barcelona are inching closer towards winning La Liga as they defeated Real Madrid by 4-3 at the Estadi Olmpic Llus company's. After winning this match, they are now leading by seven points of Real Madrid, who are lying at the second place and are considered as one of the contenders to win the title this year.

Lamine and Raphinha were the star players of the night as they reduced the 0-2 deficit and bounced back brilliantly against Real by scoring four consecutive goals at their backyard. Yamal and Pedri scored four goals for Barcelona in just 25 minutes during the first half of th game.

Talking about the match, Yamal reckoned that they thought of doing something special sinc they were eliminated from Champions League after losing to Inter Milan during the semifinals. Ramal revealed that it was very important for them to win against Real Madrid and they will aim to finish their job this year.

It was Barcelona's fourth win in as many matches against Real this year. Their winning streak started in October last year, where they had defeated Madrid by 4-0 during consecutive finals- the Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.

The clash on Sunday was a nail-biting thriller as it was Real, who had scored the first two goals against Barcelona, on the back of a brilliant counter-attack against a very high line. Kylian Mbappe had scored both the goals, where the second one he had scored was with the help of a penalty. Mbappe scored his first hat-trick against Barcelona, where he scored his third goal during the second half, but couldn't help his team from losing the match.

There were a lot of goals that were disallowed, and one of the most specific ones was scored during the second half. Mbappe had scored an offside, which could otherwise have levelled the score 4-4 for them. During the last few minutes, Fermin Lopez's brilliant drive was declared a VAR due to a handball as he tried to score a goal.

It was a brilliant atmosphere in Barcelona camp as their women's team had won the La Liga F title for th sixth consecutive time. Barcelona Gemini lifted the trophy as they had defeated Real Betis by 9-0, where Claudia Pina scired a hat-trick and both Eja Pajor and Alexis Putellas got a brace.

The 10-time champions Barcelona are currntly the table toppers as they have scored 81 points after playing in 29 matches and are now ahad of arch-nemesis Real Madrid by six points and with just on match lft this year.

It was a dream debut for coach Pere Romeu, who had replaced ex-manager Jonathan Geraldez after they led Barcelona to lead the American NWSL side, Washington Spirit.

Barcelona are on the verge of a quadruple as they had won th Spanish Supr cup and have qualified for the summit clash of the Women's Champions League and Copa del Reina but their performance has been below standards.
