Lionel Messi has been joined by his former Barcelona teammates at Inter Miami as the recent signing of Luis Suarez promised a reunion ahead of the upcoming MLS season.
Messi was spotted alongside Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at the training ground, sitting next to each other on a couple of benches in their practice attire, all of them smiling.
Lionel Messi was sipping on a drink at one end, Luis Suárez next to him, then Sergio Busquets, then Jordi Alba on the other end.

The football world is once again ready to see the Barcelona masterclass but in an Inter Miami jersey this time as they prepare to make it count in the new season.
Suarez was seen in his new colors for the first time after signing a one-year deal last month to join the trio of his former teammates who arrived last summer.
“To come help a team that has well-known players that everyone knows and (adjust) to the other players and what is a new club and do what the club wants — which is to attempt to win an MLS Cup and do it with professionalism — is what is wanted of me,” Suárez said.
Suárez and Messi spent six seasons together at Barcelona, winning four Spanish league titles and nine other trophies — including a Champions League title — in that span.
The best moment for all four players together came in the 2014-2015 season when they won the treble with Barcelona, winning Laliga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League.
Messi had to leave his childhood club Barcelona on disappointing terms in July 2021 as his contract wasn't extended due to a financial crisis at Camp Nou.
Busquets was made Barcelona's first-team captain after Messi's departure and he recently became Laliga champion last season before leaving the club after a long service.
Alba followed Busquets' move and decided to say goodbye to the Laliga giants, making way for new faces and reuniting with a friend and former teammate in MLS.
As if playing with Messi again wouldn't be enough of a reason to come to MLS, Suárez said another selling point came from a series of talks with David Beckham, the soccer legend and part of Inter Miami's ownership group.
"This is so important for me," Suárez said. “He talked to me about the good things about Inter Miami, about MLS. It was so nice for me when he told me that.”
Talking about Messi, he joined Inter Miami after spending two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain post-Barcelona departure.
The 36-year-old featured in the Inter Miami lineup 14 times last season and made a mark, scoring 11 goals and being instrumental in securing the club's maiden trophy.
The MLS season will officially start on Wednesday, Feb. 21 when Inter Miami hosts Real Salt Lake at DRV PNK Stadium.
