Novak Djokovic vs Carlos Alcaraz Head-To-Head Record, US Open 2025 Semifinal: Reigning Olympic tennis champion Novak Djokovic is all set to be up against Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s singles semi-finals at the US Open 2025 on Saturday.

Djokovic will be heading into the match on the back of a victory over Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinal. "Everybody is probably expecting and anticipating the finals between two of them," Djokovic said on the possibility of an Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner match in the final. "I'm going to try to, you know, mess up the plans of most of the people."

The winner of the Djokovic vs Alcaraz will take on one between defending champion Jannik Sinner and No. 25 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, who will play in the second semifinal on the same day, in the final. This will be the ninth career meeting between Djokovic and Alcaraz.

A win against Alcaraz will take Djokovic one step closer to his greatest achievement thus far, the historic 25th career major, a feat that would put him past Margaret Court. "I'm dreaming about winning another Slam, and it would be amazing if I do it here. The last Grand Slam I won was here, actually, two years ago. So it would be a nice kind of journey in the last couple of years, to kind of close the circle here again would be great," Djokovic added.

Alcaraz, on the other hand, is on an 11-match winning streak, including the Cincinnati title.

The last time that Novak Djokovic faced off against 22-year-old Carlos Alcaraz was in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January. The 38-year-old Serbian beat the Spaniard 4-6, 6-4. 6-3, 6-4 in that contest.

Djokovic, who has 24 men's Grand Slam titles under his belt, has a 5-3 head-to-head lead over Carlos Alcaraz.
The veteran got the better of Alcaraz in straight sets in the final of the Paris Olympics 2024. Novak Djokovic's last defeat to Carlos Alcaraz came in the final of Wimbledon 2024.

Notably, Carlos Alcaraz, the 2022 US Open champion, has never beaten Novak Djokovic on hard courts.
