The Pro Kabaddi League has recently unveiled its list of retained players for the highly anticipated Season 10. In a significant move, the league has categorized the retained players into three groups: "Elite Retained Players (ERP)", "Retained Young Players (RYP)", and "Existing New Young Players (ENYP)". This meticulous selection process has resulted in a total of 84 players being retained across these categories, showcasing a strategic approach by the franchises to build formidable teams.
Among these categories, 22 players have earned the distinction of being Elite Retained Players, while 24 promising talents have been secured as Retained Young Players. An additional 38 players fall under the Existing New Young Players category. This careful distribution of retained players sets the stage for a riveting Season 10, with the core of each team already taking shape.
As the countdown to the new season continues, attention now turns to the upcoming PKL Season 10 Player Auction. Scheduled to unfold from September 8th to 9th, 2023, in Mumbai, the auction promises to be a dynamic event. Notably, star players such as Pawan Sehrawat and Vikash Kandola, who were not retained, will enter the auction fray. The return of these marquee players to the auction pool adds an extra layer of excitement, and teams are expected to strategize intensively to strengthen their line-ups.

The retention strategy pursued by the franchises ensures a judicious blend of youthful exuberance and seasoned expertise in their ranks. Renowned figures like PKL legend Pardeep Narwal, Aslam Mustafa Inamdar, and the Season 9 MVP Arjun Deshwal have been successfully retained by their respective teams. Pardeep Narwal continues to be a cornerstone of UP Yoddhas, Puneri Paltan retains Aslam Mustafa Inamdar's skills, and Jaipur Pink Panthers keep hold of the dynamic Arjun Deshwal. This amalgamation of established prowess and emerging potential paints an enticing picture for the Pro Kabaddi League's Season 10, promising a captivating and unforgettable spectacle.
