JE Sports Desk: Indian football coach Igor Stimac got involved in a nasty scuffle with players of Pakistan football team during the enterprising encounter between the two sides at the Sree Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. In a match where the blue tigers dominated completely, coach Stimac interfered in the game when Pakistan's Abdullah Iqbal was in the process of a throw-in.
Ever since the video emerged on the internet, it went viral instantly. In the video, Stimac can be seen tried to pull the ball back from Iqbal which sparked a wild reaction from him along with other players and coaching staff as well. The referee had to intervene in the middle to seperate and clear the situation which turned chaotic in no time.
The situation was brought under control as Stimac was shown red card by the referee. The head coach stormed off the field as he wasn't allowed to guide the Indian side during the course of the match.
Mahesh Gawli replaced Stimac doing the duty on the touchline.
