Apple has grabbed eyeballs after launching the iPhone 16 series for the global markets. Apple Intelligence along with the physical Camera Control button and enhanced camera was the talk of the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event. Not only that, Tim Cook and team Apple also introduced the Watch 10 Series and AirPods 4 with new Pro variants.

But have you noticed, that every Apple device (with display) during the launch event shows time ‘9.41’? Not only during the launch event, in the promotional banners, and images, the time remains the same. But Why? It’s because of the Apple founder Steve Jobs.

Apple’s Scott Forstall, former senior vice president of iOS software stated that the team design the keynotes so that the big reveal of the products happens around 40 minutes into the presentation. “When the big image of the product appears on screen, we want the time shown to be close to the actual time on the audience's watches. But we know we won't hit 40 minutes exactly," he said as quoted by the media reports.

The company said they chose to be early rather than late hence gave themselves 2 minutes extra and hence decided on 9.42 AM in the product photos. But when Steve Jobs practiced the launch presentation, he found that the first iPhone reveal would happen at 9.41 AM so the image of the phone was set for 9.41.

Further, Forstall revealed that the estimate was well on time, so for the iPad, the company made it 41 minutes.

Meanwhile, Apple has introduced the iPhone 16 series in the Indian market. All the iPhones will be available for pre-order starting September 13 and will be available for public sale starting September 20.
