iPhone New Prices: Apple, a Cupertino-based tech giant, has announced a price cut on a range of iPhones in India. The price cut varies from 3-4 per cent across iPhone models and series. The devices span from the older iPhone SE to the latest iPhone 15 series. As for the maximum price drops, the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max dropped by Rs 5,100 and Rs 5,900, according to The Economic Times.
As for the iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15, the prices have fallen by Rs 300. In the case of the iPhone SE, the amount has slipped by Rs 2,300. The move comes after the announcement of Budget 2024 which reduced the basic customs duty on smartphones from 20 to 15 per cent. While the company halts sales of older Pro models via its official channels after the announcement of the latest series, reducing the prices has not been a trend in the past.
