Apple, a Cupertino-based tech giant, is expected to unveil the new iPhones next month. While we are about a few weeks away from launch, the rumour mill has managed to leak details about the upcoming Mac mini. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company is working on a new Mac mini that will be Apple's smallest computer ever in an attempt to revamp the Mac and AI chips lineup.

Citing sources, the report noted the model is due for a launch later this year and will bring significant design tweaks since the last 2010 revamp under Steve Jobs. It is expected to be notably smaller than the current model and could have a size similar to the Apple TV set-top box, the report said. This mini model could be among the several Macs expected in the upcoming months.

Apple has been prepping the iMac desktop and MacBook Pro with M4, which could see the light of day this year. The tech giant is reportedly planning the launch of MacBook Air laptops for Spring and Mac Pro and Mac Studio in 2025. The M4 processor is expected to move across all the new Macs. Currently, the chip powers the latest iPad Pro.

The upcoming Mac mini could be taller and sport an aluminium chassis. It could sport three USB ports and an HDMI port for connectivity. The pricing details of the device remain unclear at the moment. The company is working on two versions of the mini PC. The top-end trim could support memory and graphics addition.
