Apple is set to host a special product launch event on October 30, just ahead of Halloween on October 31. The event is dubbed "Scary Fast." Apple is expected to introduce the updated version of the Mac lineup. However, Apple has not confirmed the product lineup at the time of writing the article.

According to the report, Apple is rumoured to be presenting a new MacBook Pro and an updated 24-inch iMac at the event. These new devices might come with Apple's most recent M3 chipset, which promises better performance.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, this event may put an end to an extended time without major Mac improvements since the introduction of the M1 iMac in the first half of 2021. He also added that November may see the release of several iMac combos, 13-inch MacBook Pro models, and other high-end Pro models.

Not only that, a report by Reuters citing the White House, Apple will announce plans to make parts, equipment, and documentation needed to repair iPhones and Macbooks available to independent repair businesses and consumers nationwide to support local repairs.

The company will also now back a national right-to-repair measure in the United States, according to the report citing the White House, which is a significant step towards lowering consumer prices. For years, consumer activists criticised Apple, claiming that their premium products were difficult and expensive to repair and that the firm gave no help for repairs.
