ASUS, a Taiwanese-based technology company known for its gaming devices such as laptops and smartphones, has launched its ROG 7 phone series with flagship-level specifications such as the latest Snapdragon chipset and an impressive set of cameras, among other things. Here's everything you need to know about smartphones.

ASUS ROG 7 Specifications:

The all-new ASUS ROG 7 smartphone gets a massive 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate panel of 165Hz with a built-in fingerprint sensor. The smartphone gets a resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone gets a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The smartphone would be running on the Android 13-based skin.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation paired with a 13 MP ultrawide sensor and an 8 MP lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will get a 32 MP front camera.

ASUS ROG 7 Ultimate Specifications:

The elder sibling ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate gets the same 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate panel of 165 Hz and the same built-in fingerprint sensor. It also gets front-facing stereo speakers. Both sphones get a peak brightness of 1500 nits.

The smartphone is driven by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16 GB LPPDRX5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone is powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery and supports 65 W fast charging. The smartphone would be powered by the most recent Android 13-based skin ZenUI. Furthermore, the smartphone includes a 2-inch secondary display on the back for the call, charging, gaming, and other indications as well as a connecting option to connect the phone with external gadgets known as AeroActive Portal, which was introduced to maintain the thermals of the smartphone with the help of a fan accessory.

In terms of optics, the smartphone features a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary shooter, a 13 MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8 MP macro lens. The smartphone has a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The box of the phone includes a ROG AeroActive Cooler 7 and pouch, an AeroCase that is compatible with the ROG AeroActive Cooler 7, and a 30W adapter.

ASUS ROG 7 and 7 Ultimate Price:

The price of the ASUS ROG 7 starts at Rs 74,999 for the trim with 12 GB/ 256 GB, while the ASUS ROG 7 Ultimate price starts at Rs 99,999 for 16GB RAM and 512GB. The sale will start in May, however, no official dates have been announced.
