EA is preparing to launch Battlefield 6 this week on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, and you can pre-load it now from all over the world ahead of the worldwide launch. Players in India will be able to get in on the action starting October 11 at 2:30 am IST.

Battlefield 6 Global Release Timings

The official release times were confirmed by EA in a post on X (neé Twitter). The title will be available worldwide October 10:

US: 8am PDT / 11am EDT

London, UK: 4pm BST

India: 8:30pm UTC / October 11, 2am IST

Pre-loading is now available on the Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store — not so much on the Epic Games Store.

Season 1 Post-Launch Updates

Released a week later on October 28 as a free addition to all players is the first season update from EA. Rogue Ops, Season 1 will bring:

- A new map: Blackwell Fields

- New 4v4 mode: Strikepoint

- Additional vehicles, weapons, and attachments

The second phase of Season 1 will roll out on November 18, bringing:

- A new map: Eastwood

- New 8v8 feature: Sabotage

- Battle Pickups, new weapons, and attachments

The final phase of Season 1 is scheduled for December 9, featuring:

- A limited-time winter version of the Empire State map

- A special event

- A new melee weapon

Battlefield 6 vs Call of Duty

Battlefield 6 is the series’ first game since Battlefield 2042 in 2021. It puts it head to head with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is due next month on PC and consoles, in a huge clash for the shooter market.
