If you purchased an iPhone 15, you may be eligible for a partial refund if Apple lowers the price. Typically, Apple lowers the prices of existing iPhones days after unveiling new iPhones. And, since Apple is launching the new iPhone 16 series in global countries on Monday, there is a good likelihood that Apple may lower the pricing of earlier iPhones.

According to Apple India’s retail policy, customers who have bought the iPhone 15 in the last 14 days and the company reduced the prices, the customers are eligible for the refund of that particular difference. Apple calls its Price Protection Scheme. This policy allows the user to claim a refund of the difference between the invoice price and the new lower price.

While the iPhone 16 launch price is expected to be the same as the iPhone 15’s price, it is expected that the company would reduce the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. There are also reports which claim that Apple will be discontinuing the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Customers can request the refund by visiting the Apple Retail Store or by going to the Apple Contact Center at 000800 040 1966. Do note that the price refund is only available for the customers who have opted for the iPhone 15 fourteen days prior to the price slash announcement.

Additionally, the refund policy allows customers to take refunds for up to 10 units of a particular model. It means, that if you can up to 10 iPhone 15, you can request a partial refund. All you need to do is purchase proof.
