ChatGPT Down:  OpenAI's ChatGPT is currently facing disruptions. According to popular outage detector website Downdetector, there is a spike in outages from June 10, 2 PM IST onwards, with the number of reports currently above 800 and rising. Users are being hit with an error message while trying to access the chatbot.

The message reads, "Hmm.. something seems to have gone wrong." this message is followed by a retry button. Some users are encountering a different message like "A network error occurred." or "Please check your connection and try again. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com."

A major outage can be seen in ChatGPT, the AI chatbot of OpenAI, which at the time of writing constituted 71 per cent of outage reports, and 22 per cent of outages are in the app and 6 per cent in the API.

Users have taken to social media to find out the reason behind this outage and what is wrong with the AI platform with 400 million weekly users. "ChatGPT, my work buddy, is down again," one person wrote on X. 

"Apparently Chatgpt is down globally. I thought my internet was glitching," a comment read.
