CHATGPT, a popular AI chatbot developed by San Francisco-based OpenAI, which has become the talk of the town because of its capabilities and the massive user base that it has created within the months of launch, is already speculated to take up some jobs with its smartly designed algorithms and use cases.
In a new update, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, says that artificial intelligence and technological breakthroughs will reshape society and expresses concern about AI chatbots destroying many jobs in society. Further, he also mentioned that AI could put the world in real danger, but it could be the greatest technology humanity has yet developed, which can drastically improve human life, claims a report by ABC News.
"We have to be cautious here. I think people should be relieved that we're terrified of this," Altman was quoted as saying. When questioned why he was scared about starting his company, he responded that if he wasn't, "you should either not believe me or be extremely unhappy that I'm in this profession", mentions the report.

“It is going to eliminate a lot of current jobs, that’s true. We can make much better ones. The reason to develop AI at all, in terms of impact on our lives and improving our lives and upside, this will be the greatest technology humanity has yet developed," OpenAI CEO told ABC News.
Further, he said that artificial intelligence would also have possible effects on sectors like education including the potential to encourage laziness among students, according to the report.
"Education will have to be altered. But this has happened many times before with technology. When we obtained the calculator, the method we taught arithmetic and what we tested pupils on drastically altered,” he said.
Meanwhile, the company has also introduced the upgraded GPT-4 model which now comes with a series of new features including creative writing. The users can now write screenplays, marketing copies, and much more.
