ELON Musk constantly grab headlines for his activities on Twitter. The recent ones include the announcement of the "ask-me-anything" facility for his subscribers once every few weeks. Plus, he would organise discussions on Spaces too "sometimes." A user can participate in the Tesla CEO's session by enrolling as a subscriber to his account.

According to Mint, the fee for his subscription is $4 per month. The subscription revenue model is a rebranded version of Super Follows. It helps creators on Twitter earn income every month through their activity. Associated benefits with the service include exclusive tweets, subscriber badges, subscriber-only spaces and more. A creator can share a link to host a subscribers-only conversation exclusively for subscribers.

Further, the platform reports the Twitter boss added that the platform would promote the content of creators. A creator can leave Twitter depending on their choice and take away their work whenever they mark an exit. The aim is to "maximise creator prosperity."

Musk has clarified no deduction will take place from the creator's pie in the coming 12 months. A creator will be paid the full 70 per cent amount on iOS and Android after a deduction of a 30 per cent in-app purchase fee. On the web, it will be 92 per cent (or more).

Subscribers on Twitter get a badge on their profile whenever they reply to their subscribed creator which helps them stand out in the comments. A creator can choose from three options - $2.99, $4.99, or $9.99. The service is available in the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia on iOS and Android, according to the Help Center of Twitter.

Meanwhile, Twitter has undergone a slew of changes since the platform leadership overhaul last year. Twitter Blue is another subscription service with benefits such as a verified badge, longer tweets, SMS-based two-factor authentication and more. Recently, the company increased the posting limit to 10,000 characters in a tweet for Twitter Blue subscribers.

Plus, the company has started fading away the blue badge delivered to users in the legacy verified scheme.
