Samsung Galaxy AI rollout for the Galaxy S23 series and other flagship smartphones with OneUI 6.1 update has been one of the major talking points for tech fans. Now Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, as well as Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+ and Tab S9, will be getting the Galaxy AI features in late March.
The Galaxy AI features introduced during the launch of the Galaxy S24 series will no longer be limited to the flagship series and will be offered to a wider range of consumers starting next month. Not only Samsung, but practically every other smartphone manufacturer is aiming to increase their portfolio of AI capabilities, which could explain why expanding the Galaxy AI features to additional people makes sense.
With the new OneUI 6.1 update, users of the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series will have access to features such as Google's "Circle to Search" feature, which allows them to search from anywhere on their phone using gestures such as circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping. Not only that, but Galaxy AI will provide Live Translation, allowing customers to translate phone calls in their respective languages in real-time.
In addition, the business has unveiled the Interpreter, a tool that creates text translations for real-time chats. In addition to this capability, Samsung has developed "Chat Assist," which enables you to use a Samsung Keyboard to translate texts into 13 languages and change the tone of your messages.
Additionally, Samsung unveiled Note Assist, a function that lets Galaxy AI users create note summaries and translations. If you read news articles frequently, the Browsing Assist tool might help you understand the main points.
The business has also created the Generative Edit feature for photographs, allowing users to realign, resize, and rearrange the items in the image. Additionally, ideas for improving the images will be given to the users. "Instant Slow-Mo" is another function in the Galaxy AI feature list that will produce extra frames for slow-motion recordings in order to better capture moments.
