TWITTER has a one-to-one space where accounts can chat through direct messages. It is a form of private chat between the participants of the platform. In case you wish to pin chats from a particular Twitter profile, you can do this from the DM sections of the app. Here is how.

On Android

Step 1: Open the Twitter app on your Android handset

Step 2: Tap on the envelope icon on the extreme bottom right of the UI interface

Step 3: From the chat menu, press and hold the conversation you wish to pin to the top

Step 4: From the options, select 'Pin Conversation'

The chat from the account will appear on top in the 'Pinned conversations' header above 'All conversations' section. On the other hand, to unpin the chat, press and hold the conversation and select 'Unpin Conversation' from the menu.

On iPhone

Step 1: Open the Twitter app on your iPhone

Step 2: Tap on the envelope icon located on the extreme bottom right of the UI interface

Step 3: From the chat menu, swipe the conversation to the right

Step 4: Once the blue pin icon appears, click on it.

You can also long-press a conversation to pin it on top. On expected lines, the conversation will appear on top.

On the web

Step 1: Open the website of Twitter on your computer or laptop

Step 2: Click on 'Messages' (the envelope icon) placed between the 'Notifications' and 'Bookmarks' options

Step 3: From the Messages menu, find the conversation you would like to pin on top

Step 4: Hover over the conversation, a three dots icon will appear on the top right

Step 5: Click on it and select 'Pin conversation'

A user can pin up to six conversations on top of the DM inbox, according to a Mint report.

Meanwhile, speaking of the latest updates, the platform recently started winding down blue checkmarks from legacy verified accounts. To get the blue verified mark back on their accounts, users can subscribe to Twitter Blue, paid service of Twitter.
