The upcoming affordable iPhone, the iPhone SE 4, may not include a home button. This comes after probable smartphone renders appeared online. However, Apple missed out on the iPhone SE last year, and the last iPhone SE was released in 2022, resembling the iPhone 8, but this time around, the iPhone SE 4 is likely to be more premium and may resemble the iPhone 14, bringing it in line with other iPhones on the market.
The iPhone SE, which was released in 2022, featured a 4.7-inch display and a home button that resembled the iPhone 8. Apple introduced the A15 Bionic chipset and the Touch ID. However, new CAD renders reveal that the iPhone SE 4 will have a larger 6.1-inch display, as well as new Face ID sensors and a front-facing camera. However, the mockups show that the iPhone SE 4 would include a single back camera with a flash sensor.
With this, the 91Mobiles report suggests that the upcoming iPhone SE4 may get a dimension of 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm which is quite bigger than the iPhone SE's 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm, which hints that the iPhone SE 4 will get a larger screen.
Previous reports have stated that the iPhone SE 4 will use USB-C instead of the lightning port. Some predictions also suggest that Apple would include the Action button, which is already available on the premium iPhone 15 Pro.
iPhone SE 4 Release Date:
It should be noted that Apple has not confirmed the release of the iPhone SE 4, and reports already claim that Apple fans will have to wait a year to get their hands on the upcoming generation of the SE series. The iPhone SE 4 has been in the news for more than a year. Recently, Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the business has halted development, which indicates that fans will not see the phone anytime soon.
