iQOO is gearing up for one of its biggest launches yet. The company has confirmed that pre-bookings for its upcoming flagship, the iQOO 15, will open on November 20, ahead of its official launch on November 26, 2025. With major upgrades in display, performance, and design, this device is shaping up to be one of the most interesting Android releases this year.
Display: Samsung’s 2K OLED Panel Makes Its Android Debut
The iQOO 15 will be the first Android phone to use Samsung’s 2K M14 LEAD™ OLED display — a panel usually seen on Samsung’s own top-tier devices. It supports a 144 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 6000 nits peak brightness, making it one of the brightest displays on any smartphone in India. Dolby Vision support and triple ambient light sensors ensure that the visuals stay sharp and balanced whether you’re gaming or watching HDR content outdoors.

Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and AI Enhancements
Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with OriginOS 6 (Android 16). iQOO says the phone easily crosses the 4-million mark on AnTuTu, showing just how far mobile performance has come. There’s also a Supercomputing Chip Q3, designed to handle advanced graphics, frame interpolation, and AI enhancements — meaning smoother gaming, reduced input lag, and better visual output at up to 144 FPS.
Cooling and Graphics: 8K VC System with Ray Tracing
The iQOO 15 uses an 8K vapour chamber cooling system, the largest of its kind in India, aimed at keeping temperatures stable during long gaming or recording sessions. Combined with hardware-level ray tracing, it aims to deliver more realistic graphics with natural reflections and lighting—a first for many mobile titles.
Cameras: Triple 50MP Setup with Periscope Zoom
On the imaging front, the iQOO 15 features a triple 50MP setup:
50MP Sony IMX921 (main) – improved HDR and colour accuracy
50MP Sony IMX882 (periscope telephoto) – up to 60x hybrid zoom
50MP ultra-wide – for landscapes and creative shots
For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera with AI tuning and HDR optimisation, making it equally capable for video calls, portraits, and vlogging.
Battery and Charging: 7000 mAh with 100 W Fast Charge
The phone packs a 7000mAh battery, supported by 100W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Smart algorithms manage heat and optimise charging speed to preserve long-term battery health.
Software Support: Long-Term Updates Promised
iQOO is promising 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches—a rare level of commitment in the Android space. OriginOS 6 brings smoother animations, smarter multitasking, and improved AI memory management for better day-to-day performance.
Pre-Booking Benefits: Early Access and Freebies
Pre-booking opens November 20, where customers can secure their unit with a ₹1000 refundable deposit. The Priority Pass includes perks like free iQOO TWS 1e earbuds, extended warranty, and early delivery.
Design: Alpha and Legend Editions
The phone will be available in two finishes — Alpha (matte black) and Legend (white with tricolour accents). The body uses aerospace-grade aluminium, is IP68/IP69 certified, and maintains a slim, premium feel.
Made in India with a Strong Service Network
The iQOO 15 is manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility, reinforcing the brand’s ‘Make in India’ push. It’s backed by over 670 service centres across the country, ensuring better after-sales support and repair turnaround.
