Today, i.e., on Monday, OpenAI's ChatGPT is facing outages in India, the USA and other regions. ChatGPT is facing an outage, resulting in several users complaining about the issue. Starting at the time 12:54 PM, Downdetector recorded a rapid increase in the reports, where around 627 users reported issues by 1:10 PM.

ChatGPT Down in India

As per Downdetector, in India, 82 per cent of the users experienced the issues with the ChatGPT outage, where 12 per cent were about browser users and 6 per cent were app users. As per the trackers, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and several other cities are among the affected areas.

ChatGPT Down in US

In the US, over 150 complaints were registered on Downdetector by 1:10 PM IST. Out of the 81 per cent, 12 per cent were from the app users and 7 per cent were from the website users. The affected areas as per trackers are Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, according to Downdetector.

There is no official word from OpenAI yet regarding the outage or any workaround for the issue. However, users are advised to keep an eye on official channels for updates.
