Lava is about to unveil its next massive mid-range challenger – the Lava Agni 4 5G in India this November. Although an exact release date is unknown as of now, the entire BIS certification website has spotted a listing which suggests that the launch of the smartphone might be imminent. It will be a successor to the Lava Agni 3 from last year, with several improvements in terms of performance, battery and display.

Lava Agni 4 BIS Listing Confirms Imminent Launch

Tipper @passionategeekz reported that Lava Agni 4 5G has been registered on the BIS database with model number LXX525 on September 15 – another sign it has passed regulatory hurdles ahead of launch. Lava already released images showing off this device in black with a dual camera module designed like a pill-style device, making it appear like a premium phone.

Expected Specifications of Lava Agni 4 5G

The Lava Agni 4 5G is rumoured to have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ screen with a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz for better scrolling and gaming.  According to reports, MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 SoC, which is primarily intended to provide a seamless 5G experience and multitasking capabilities, may power it internally.

The device will also likely tout UFS 4.0 storage for faster read and write speeds, as well as a hefty 7,000 mAh battery — one of the biggest in its weight class. Details about the charging are yet to be confirmed, but since it’s Lava we are talking about here and its recent phones support fast charging, I am certain this is also going to happen.

When it comes to the optics department, there could be a dual 50MP rear camera setup on the Lava Agni 4, which will deliver you a decent level of detail and good low-light performances. The details for the front camera are still not known, but expect it to be a significant notch above the 16MP selfie shooter seen on the Agni 3.

Lava Agni 4 5G Price in India (Expected)

The Lava Agni 4 5G will be released with a price tag of around ₹25,000, so it’ll make its way to being in the zone of being a premium mid-ranger and compete with phone makers like iQOO, Realme and Redmi.

What to Expect

If the leaks turn out to be true, the Lava Agni 4 might make a strong return for Lava to India’s 5G mid-ranger market. In some ways, it could be one of the most feature-packed Made-in-India phones this year – with a gargantuan battery, potent Dimensity chip and buttery-smooth 120 Hz display.

In short: Lava’s next flagship is around the corner—and it promises to pack in big power, a big display, and big battery life, all for just a competitive price.
