Xbox, a popular gaming console owned by Microsoft, has now announced that its Cloud Gaming service will be available on Meta Quest VR headsets. With this new announcement, Meta VR users can play hundreds of games. However, the new service is currently in the beta testing phase.
Microsoft claimed in a blog post on Wednesday that "you can play hundreds of games with a Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro headset, the most recent Quest software update, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, a supported controller, and a high-speed internet connection."
"Starting today, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is now available on Meta Quest 3.
"Play your favourite games, such as Starfield and Forza Motorsport, on a massive virtual screen, or uncover ID@Xbox gems, such as Unpacking, that are playable on the go," it added.
Users only need to follow the instructions to pair the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) software with their compatible controller after downloading it from the Meta Quest Store. Many devices, including Xbox Wireless controllers with Bluetooth compatibility, are compatible with Meta Quest. To begin playing after pairing, sign in to your Microsoft account using a valid Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.
Users may explore and play hundreds of titles from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate collection directly from within the app. Users can select from four distinct display sizes and take advantage of Quest 3 or Pro's stereoscopic full-colour Passthrough to view their physical surroundings or immerse themselves in a virtual world with an Xbox theme.
