Microsoft has announced support for Bluetooth LE Audio hearing aids in its newly released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25977. Users may pair their hearing aids with Windows 11 PCs to receive calls, listen to music, and stream audio directly from their computers using this new feature.
According to Microsoft, this feature may presently be found on a few Windows devices that support Bluetooth LE Audio, and more PCs are expected to support it in the future. The tech giant also said that future editions will include more features for hearing aids, like the ability to manage audio presets in Windows settings.
Microsoft has also released privacy changes in addition to these accessibility upgrades. The users will now get more control over the data and will be notified when the application tries to access their location or Wi-Fi.
Microsoft is also implementing an AI bug bounty programme as part of its security measures. The AI-powered Bing experience is the program's first in-scope product, giving researchers worldwide the chance to find weaknesses in the Bing chatbot and AI integrations. Researchers can be awarded as much as $15,000 to encourage them to strengthen the security of these AI systems.
Meanwhile, Microsoft-backed OpenAI has officially announced internet access for the popular chatbot ChatGPT. This came after Microsoft announced the DALL-E 3 as free access to the users in the Bing Chat.
With this move, the company aims to offer a better user experience with its text-to-image capabilities and better accuracy.
