Motorola seems ready to gear up for the next big flagship. Fresh from the release of the Edge 70 globally, the Lenovo-owned brand is apparently prepared to revive its Ultra lineup, skipping the “Edge 60 Ultra” altogether and going directly to the Edge 70 Ultra. The early leaks show off renders, specifications, and performance numbers to give a first look at what fans might be in for.

Design Leaks Hint at Rugged, Premium Look
Leaked images reveal the Edge 70 Ultra will come in olive and blue shades, with a textured back panel. This is a definite move away from the soft eco-leather that adorned the Edge 50 Ultra, opting for something a little more rugged and performance-focused.
The rear camera module resides in the top-left corner, with three lenses arranged in a vertical manner. If this follows Motorola's previous decisions, this would likely include a primary sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera for extended zoom.

While the front design hasn't leaked yet, it is expected to feature a centre hole-punch camera, slim bezels, and a large flat OLED display around 6.7 to 6.8 inches with a high refresh rate.
Specs Leak: Expect Flagship Performance
Under the hood, the Edge 70 Ultra is tipped to pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Of course, this will promise flagship-level performance without touching the top-of-the-line variant, the 8 Elite Gen 5. Early Geekbench numbers indicate 2,636 in single-core and 7,475 in multi-core tests, paired with 16GB RAM.
The device is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola's Hello UX interface layered on top.

Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing
Although Motorola has not confirmed the launch, leaks show that it will come out around the end of February 2025. For India, prices could be around Rs 60,000, a bit more than last year's Edge 50 Ultra, which launched for Rs 49,999. Given increasing flagship prices, such a bump is unsurprising.
It will feature a premium design with high-end performance and an Ultra lineup renewed with strong competition in the flagship segment.
