Tesla CEO and X Owner Elon Musk regularly grab headlines in the media for his online activity on X (formerly called Twitter). And this time, his latest post is winning the hearts of netizens. Musk shared an image of a Tesla robot - Optimus, with a text at the bottom that reads: "Namaste."

According to the latest video shared by @Tesla_Optimus, the robot can "sort objects" on its own. "Its neural network is trained fully end-to-end: video in, controls out," the firm added. The clip also said that the robot can self-calibrate its hands and legs.

With the required training, it can perform functions, including sorting plastic blocks (colour-wise) without any external help. It also sports intelligent "corrective action capabilities" to adapt to change. Plus, it can perform a wide range of other tasks using its precision sensors and AI.

Optimus can perform stretching exercises and demonstrate balance. In the clip, the robot finally signs off by saying 'Namaste' after performing a few yoga poses. According to Tesla, the aim is to create "a general purpose, bi-pedal, autonomous humanoid robot capable of performing unsafe, repetitive or boring tasks."

The clip has garnered over 10 million views and over 29,000 likes. Several users shared their takes on the new video. One user said: "Will come in handy when sorting laundry." A second one posted: "Just a car company, they said." "Would love to see them doing farming," a third one added.

A screengrab of this clip where the robot concludes with 'Namaste' was shared by Musk. The post has raked over 13 million views, two lakh likes and 16,000 retweets. Several users have shared their takes on the development and shared fun responses.

One user said: "E-pranayam." Another one said: "Namaste from Bharat." A third one added: "Namaste Elon Bhai." One more added: "Namaste Mr Musk. Visit India soon." At the moment, the availability of the robot is unclear.
