A few months ago, Nano Banana introduced a more accessible way for casual creators to restore photos, design figurines and experiment with image editing. It pushed the envelope for lightweight visual creation tools. Now the next step is here. Nano Banana Pro, built on the Gemini 3 Pro Image model, brings sharper reasoning, stronger world awareness and a major leap in visual accuracy.

Turning Any Idea Into a Visual

Nano Banana Pro is designed to help convert rough ideas into polished visuals. Whether it’s a prototype, a data-driven infographic or a diagram based on handwritten notes, the model uses improved reasoning to understand context and structure before rendering an image.

This enhanced understanding makes it possible to generate visuals that feel grounded in real-world information. From educational diagrams to recipe breakdowns and real-time weather snapshots, the output aims to be both accurate and visually clear.

More Precise Text Rendering in Images

One of the biggest changes is how text appears inside images. Nano Banana Pro produces clearer, more legible text in multiple languages, supporting longer paragraphs, stylized fonts and complex typographic layouts. It handles calligraphy, posters, mockups and translated content with better consistency, backed by its improved multilingual reasoning.

High-Fidelity Compositions With More Elements

Nano Banana Pro can now blend up to 14 images and retain the likeness of up to five people across a single composition. Whether the task is merging lifestyle shots, staging editorial-style scenes or converting sketches into photorealistic concepts, the model maintains continuity, lighting, identity and overall design integrity.

Advanced Controls for Creators

Creators can fine-tune lighting, focus, angles and color grading with much more precision. Scene transformations—such as shifting daytime to night or adjusting depth of field—are handled cleanly. Support for multiple aspect ratios and higher resolutions (including 2K and 4K) makes it easier to prepare images for social posts, presentations or print.

Availability Across Products

Nano Banana Pro is rolling out across the ecosystem. Consumers and students will find it in the Gemini app under the “Thinking” model option. Professional users will see upgrades in tools like Google Ads, Workspace apps such as Slides and Vids, and Flow for filmmaking. Developers can access it through the Gemini API, Google AI Studio and eventually Vertex AI for scaled deployments.

Identifying AI-Generated Images

SynthID continues to watermark generated images, and users can now upload content in the Gemini app to check whether it was created by Google AI. Free and Pro tiers will see a visible watermark, while Ultra-tier and Studio-generated images keep only the imperceptible digital mark to maintain a clean visual canvas.
