Nothing Phone 3 has been the buzzword in the tech community for the past few months. Only recently did the smartphone maker unveil its utility-centric CMF Phone 2, and before that came the classic Nothing Phone 3a, and now all eyes are on what Nothing is calling its first true flagship, the Nothing Phone 3. The teasers are already out for Nothing fans to check out, and it seems this one will bring some big changes to the series. A complete revamp of design and a slew of AI features are expected this time.
Now all we know about the phone is from leaks and rumours, and nothing official has been confirmed yet, but it looks like Nothing is going to make a very bold move this time with its design. In a short video posted on X (Twitter), Nothing is maybe hinting at the removal of its classic Glyph Interface, which Nothing devices are very popular for. Will this be a wise move?

The short video gives a glimpse of Nothing Phone 1's lights switching off, and the caption says, "We killed the Glyph Interface." Does it mean that the days of the classic LED interface are over?
Nothing’s Glyph Interface was never just a flashy light show—it doubled as a notification system, timer, and even a makeshift flashlight for photos. But for the upcoming Phone 3, the brand could be switching things up. Rumours hint at a rear-facing dot matrix display, possibly replacing or building on the Glyph lights. Recent teaser clips have leaned into a retro aesthetic, complete with pixelated animations—maybe a clue that Nothing is embracing a bolder, more playful look this time.
We'll know for sure in July, but the leaks suggest the Phone 3 will be more than a visual revamp. It’s expected to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. You could see configurations with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, alongside a 5,000mAh battery supporting 50W fast charging.
Camera specs are expected to include a 50 MP triple rear setup and a 32 MP selfie shooter. But perhaps the biggest shift lies in software—Nothing might introduce AI-powered features like a Smart Drawer for app organisation, voice transcription, and even a custom-built AI assistant. The price? Likely to land somewhere between ₹60,000 and ₹70,000.
Apart from this, there was another teaser shared by the company that showcased what looked like some kind of a utility button with a Braille-like texture on it. If it's there for some purpose or just for pure aesthetics, it is yet to be confirmed. So with all these new teasers pouring in, it's giving fans a lot of space to speculate. Now, will the company get rid of the Glyph Interface or not is still not confirmed, and will the move work in their favour? This is something only time will tell.
