The OnePlus 15 launch appears to be right around the corner. The company has officially confirmed that its next flagship will debut in China this October, with a global rollout expected soon after. Now, a fresh leak reveals that the upcoming smartphone will ship with the largest battery ever seen on a OnePlus device, along with support for wireless charging — a first for the brand’s recent flagships.

OnePlus 15 Battery and Charging Details Leak

Gizmochina reports that tipster Bald Panda (via Gizmochina) has revealed that the OnePlus 15 will feature an upgraded 7,300 mAh battery capacity over that of its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 smartphone, providing users with fast and flexible power options. 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging options should enable quick power options that won't eat into the user's time or flexibility when charging up their battery.

Although reverse wireless charging remains unknown, these figures make the OnePlus 15 one of the most capable devices in its class.

Display and Design

The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display, slightly smaller than that of its predecessor (OnePlus 13's 6.82" panel). It is said to measure 8.1mm thick and weigh around 211-215g.

Apart from the already-teased Sand Dune colour, OnePlus is reportedly planning to offer Black and Purple variants.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Confirmed

OnePlus has announced that their next flagship, the OnePlus 15, will feature Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset manufactured using TSMC's 3nm (N3P) process, promising up to 23% better performance and 20% improved battery efficiency compared to previous generations of this chipset.

165Hz Display with AI-Powered OxygenOS 16

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 165Hz refresh rate display, an upgrade from the 120Hz panels used in earlier models. OnePlus says this enhanced display will deliver ultra-smooth visuals, especially for high-frame-rate gaming — with select titles supporting up to 165fps.

Out of the box, the OnePlus 15 will run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 in China and OxygenOS 16 globally. Notably, OnePlus India confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) that OxygenOS 16 will integrate with Google’s Gemini AI models to bring on-device AI capabilities such as smart summaries, context-aware suggestions, and voice interactions.

Global Launch Timeline

Leaks indicate the OnePlus 15 could make its international debut as early as November 13.
