OnePlus Summer Launch Event 2024: OnePlus Pad 2, the much-awaited successor to the OnePlus Pad, was launched by OnePlus at its Summer Launch Event today. The tablet debuted with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset compared to OnePlus Pad's MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Moreover, the device offers a range of AI features and other upgrades in terms of specifications.

On the expected lines, the pricing has also witnessed a hike. Here are all the details about the OnePlus Pad 2 you should know if you plan to buy a flagship tablet from OnePlus.

OnePlus Pad 2 Specifications

OnePlus Pad 2 offers a 12.1-inch 3K ReadFit LCD 144Hz screen with 900nits high brightness mode and Dolby Vision Support. It weighs 584g and is 6.5mm thick. Under the hood, it boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 750 GPU and Android 14-based OxygenOS 14.1 skin. As for the cameras, the big screen offers a 13MP rear and an 8MP selfie shooter. It comes with an Open Canvas for a smoother multitasking experience.

As for AI features, it offers Smart Cutout 2.0 (to remove background in photos), AI Eraser 2.0 (to remove objects and people from images), AI Speak (to read text) and AI Summary (to summarise documents). The Pad 2 gets a 9,510mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC charging. For immersive multimedia consumption, it comes with a six-speaker system. As for connectivity, the tablet gets Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.

OnePlus Pad 2 Price

OnePlus Pad 2's 8GB + 128GB trim will cost Rs 39,999. The 12GB + 256GB variant will be available for Rs 42,999. The open sale of the device will begin on August 1. Buyers can claim a bank discount of Rs 2,000 via ICICI Bank and OneCard offers. It will be available in a single Nimbus Gray colourway. The company also announced a Smart Keyboard for the Pad 2 (for Rs 8,499) and OnePlus Stylo 2 (Rs 5,499), which will be sold separately.
