Realme is ready to make a comeback in the flagship category with its next offering, the Realme GT 8 Pro 5G, which debuts for the first time in India on November 20 at12PM. Somewhere in 2023, phone company ZTE will launch a new device with some modicum of folding levels and the first few specs have been teased – think a swappable camera module, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a brighter-than-the-brightest display record. With this, Realme is clearly pitching the GT 8 Pro 5G as its most absolute and performance-orientated phone yet.

The GT 8 Pro 5G comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a chip that Qualcomm claims is its most advanced for flagship Androids made in 2025. This is combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, providing unparalleled app launches, multitasking capabilities and console-like gaming performance.

For the heavy tasks, Realme has upped their case by installing a state-of-the-art cooling system, which is a 7000 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system (one of the largest – if not the largest) in any smartphone for peak performance.

Realme has not given an official word on pricing of the Realme GT 8 Pro 5G, but it is rumoured to start in India between ₹59,999 and ₹64,999 for different storage variants. That puts it in direct competition with other 2025 flagships like:
