Xiaomi has added to its lineup of budget phones with the release of the Redmi 15C 5G in a limited number of international markets. The new phone follows on from the recently launched 4G version but offers higher-speed connectivity and improved hardware.

Price and Availability

The Redmi 15C 5G is currently listed in Poland at PLN 799 (about ₹19,500). The 4GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is available at an introductory price of PLN 699 (roughly ₹17,000). Buyers can choose from Dusk Purple, Midnight Black, and Mint Green via Xiaomi’s official website.

Specifications and Features

The phone features a 6.9-inch Dot Drop screen featuring HD+ resolution (1600 × 720 pixels), a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. The peak brightness is 810 nits in High Brightness Mode, and the screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for eye comfort with Reading Mode and DC Dimming.

Under the hood, it features the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. It comes with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

For the camera, the Redmi 15C 5G features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera paired with a secondary camera, whereas the front has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Battery life is a plus point, with a 6,000mAh battery offering support for 33W fast charging. It offers other features as well, such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is also equipped with an IP64 rating for dust and splash protection.

The phone is 173.16 × 81.07 × 8.2 mm in size and weighs 211 grams, making it a big but practical choice for individuals who prioritize battery life and ruggedness.
