Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus launch: The Redmi Note 15 Pro Series marked its debut on Thursday, 29 January 2026. This new offering by the Xiaomi sub-brand puts out two models, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, which are additions to the already existing Redmi Note 15. The 200 MP camera on both the new sets is part of its dual rear cam setup.
Let's take a look at the specs and features of both the handsets one by one.

Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ Specs and Features
The engine under the hood for the higher Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 silicon, while the Pro-only variant comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC. The Pro+ comes in a 12GB+512GB configuration, while the lower variant sports an 8GB+256GB configuration. A 6.83-inch AMOLED, 1.5K (1280X2772 pixels) screen is studded on both the handsets, and both run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. With a 120 Hz refresh rate, the front glass on the handsets also supports Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Both devices sport a similar camera setup with a 200MP main shooter with OIS, and completing the dual cam setup is the 8MP ultrawide lens. The only difference here is the front selfie cam, as the Pro hosts a 20 MP camera while the Pro+ has a 32 MP front shooter.
As far as battery life is concerned, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ hosts a 5,500 mAh battery with 100 W wired fast charge and 22.5 W reverse wired charge. While the lower variant has a 6,580 mAh battery with 45 W fast charge and 22.5 W reverse charging. Both sport high-res Dolby Atmos and have IP66+IP68+IP69+IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water.
Availability and Pricing
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G will cost you Rs. 37,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and it comes in the following colourways: Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and comes in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black shades.

Buyers will also be able to take advantage of bank discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 when using HDFC Bank, SBI, or ICICI credit cards. With these offers, the effective price can go down even further to Rs. 26,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Rs. 34,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.
