Samsung has officially concluded its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event after unveiling a host of new devices. The spotlight remained firmly on the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8, while the company also introduced the Galaxy Watch9, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and its new AI powered smart glasses. Beyond the hardware, Samsung showcased deeper Galaxy AI and Gemini integration, making AI the central theme of this year's announcements.

Samsung has officially introduced its new AI smart glasses, giving users another option beyond Meta's wearable lineup. Developed in collaboration with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, the glasses are designed around AI powered interactions and deeper integration with the Galaxy ecosystem. Samsung says users can even pair them with a Galaxy Watch for navigation and other connected features. The smart glasses are claimed to deliver up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge, although the company is yet to reveal their pricing.

Samsung has confirmed that its latest foldable phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. The new processor is expected to deliver faster performance while improving power efficiency. Paired with Samsung's new silicon carbon battery technology, the company says the latest Galaxy foldables are designed to offer longer battery life, allowing users to get more out of a single charge.

Google's Rick Osterloh, Senior Vice President of Devices and Services, took the stage at Galaxy Unpacked to highlight the next wave of Gemini powered AI features coming to Samsung devices. One of the biggest additions lets users snap a photo of an item and ask Gemini to find similar products online. Google also announced support for AI powered automations across more than 40 apps, with additional languages and regions set to be added over time. Meanwhile, Gemini Notebook, previously known as NotebookLM, brings notes, images, recordings, files and documents together into a single workspace, making it easier to organise and manage information.

Samsung has unveiled AI OS, a new AI focused software experience designed for Galaxy devices. Built around its partnership with Google, the platform brings deeper Gemini Intelligence integration along with a range of AI native features. Samsung says the new experience is designed to make everyday tasks more intuitive by offering smarter assistance and AI powered tools across the Galaxy ecosystem.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 will be available in a single 47mm size, with buyers able to choose between Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray finishes. The Galaxy Watch9, on the other hand, will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes. The 40mm model will be offered in Cream and Graphite, while the 44mm version will be available in Graphite and Silver colour options.

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip8 with a slimmer and lighter design, weighing just 180g and measuring 6.1mm thick. The foldable features a 6.9 inch 120Hz display, a 4.1 inch AI powered FlexWindow, a 50MP main camera and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
