Galaxy Unpacked 2024 Leaks: South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is rumoured to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 5G next month at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. While we are weeks away from the tipped launch date, a new report has leaked the expected specifications, price, storage variants and more details of the upcoming foldable device. For a detailed look, here is everything that you should know.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications (Expected)

According to a report from Smartprix, the Z Fold 6 could sport a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QXGA+ 120Hz main and a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz HD+ cover screen. These may support S Pen functionality. Under the hood, the handset could use an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset and sport 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. It could have a 4,400mAh battery. It is expected to get new Galaxy AI features in software.

Coming to the optics, the smartphone may offer a 50MP OIS main + 12MP ultrawide + 10MP 3X telephoto rear cameras. For selfies, the phone could sport a 4MP under-display sensor and a 10MP front camera on the cover screen. Speaking of connectivity, the device will likely offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C port. A side-mounted fingerprint reader may sit on the device. It may weigh 239g and have a thickness of 12.1mm when folded and 5.6mm when unfolded.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Price (Expected)

According to the news outlet, the handset may witness a price rise this year. The foldable phone may start from $1899.99 (256GB) in the US or roughly Rs 1,69,999 in India. It is tipped to arrive in three colours: Navy, Pink and Silver Shadow. The Z Fold 6 may also debut in 512GB and 1TB trims, which may cost $2019.99 and $2259.99.
