If you're into smartphones, July 2025 is shaping up to be a big month. From budget-friendly models to high-end flagships, top brands like Nothing, Samsung, Motorola, Vivo, and Oppo are set to launch new devices. Whether you’re interested in foldables, compact flagships, or powerful mid-range options, there’s something exciting coming for everyone.
Motorola G96: Affordable, Yet Feature-Rich
Motorola is reportedly preparing to introduce a new G-series smartphone, possibly the Moto G96, based on recent Flipkart teasers. It’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, with configurations offering up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The phone may come with a 6.67-inch pOLED display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate and run on Hello UI built on Android 15. Motorola is promising three years of OS upgrades. On the back, we might see a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens.
Color choices could include Ashleigh Blue, Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, and Greener Pasture. Pricing is likely to be around ₹22,000, but this could vary at launch.
Nothing Phone (3): Premium Reimagined
Nothing is stepping into the flagship arena with the launch of the Phone (3) on July 1. CEO Carl Pei has hinted at a significant design shift—potentially replacing the Glyph lights with a dot matrix-style rear display.
Rather than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite, the device will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset—also seen in phones like the iQOO Neo 10 and Poco F7. Expect a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB storage.
Camera details are still under wraps, but a 50MP main sensor in a triple-lens setup is expected. With premium build quality and a software experience that aims to “level things up,” the Phone (3) could be priced around £800 (approx. ₹90,000).
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7: Refined Foldables Incoming
Samsung is holding an event in Brooklyn on July 9, where it’s anticipated to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
The Fold 7 may feature a large 8.2-inch internal screen—Samsung’s biggest yet. While there’s still debate over whether it’ll run the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy or the Exynos 2500, the big draw is the rumored 200MP main camera.

The Flip 7 is expected to sport a nearly bezel-free 6.8-inch outer screen and dual 50MP cameras. It will likely run One UI 8 based on Android 16 and pack a 4,000mAh battery.
Oppo Reno 14 Series: Style Meets Performance
Oppo will launch its Reno 14 series in India on July 3 via Flipkart and Amazon. The Indian variants may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and equipped with high-capacity silicon carbon batteries.

The Reno 14 Pro might have a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, while the base model could feature a 6.59-inch screen. Camera-wise, expect a 50MP Sony IMX882 main lens with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto. Battery sizes are rumored to be 6,000mAh for the standard version and 6,200mAh for the Pro.
Vivo X200 FE: Compact Flagship with Serious Upgrades
After debuting in Taiwan, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to launch in India soon. Reports suggest the Indian version could run on the Dimensity 9400+, while the global model uses the Dimensity 9300+.
A standout feature is its massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The camera system, developed in partnership with Zeiss, includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide.
