VIVO, a popular Chinese smartphone maker, which is known for its wide range of categories is all set to introduce a new Vivo V29 Pro 5G in India in a few months from now. However, months before the launch, the smartphone has already become a subject to leak as the key specifications and potential renders of the phone have been tipped.

According to the report by 91Mobiles, the company would offer a curved OLED display along with the MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Here is what we know about the smartphone so far:

Vivo V29 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected)

The upcoming Vivo V29 Pro 5G is expected to make a debut with a huge 6.7-inch curved OLED screen with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz. Further, the report suggests that the smartphone would be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series processor along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone would run on Android 13 based skin out of the box and is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a fast charging support of 6W.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone is expected to get a 64 MP primary shooter along with an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens. For selfie and video calls, the smartphone is expected to get a 50MP selfie sensor with a variety of modes.

Vivo V29 Pro 5G Launch Date

The company has not announced an official launch date, but the Vivo V29 Pro 5G is expected to make its debut in India as a rebranded version of the Vivo S17 Pro, which is set to launch in China soon. However, the report also suggests that the Vivo V29 Pro 5G will be released in the global market in June, with India following suit.
