Microsoft Windows faced a disruption on Friday due to a CrowdStrike update. In a recent move to curb the damage, the tech giant has unveiled a recovery tool to let IT admins expedite the repair of Windows devices impacted by the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor issue. The USB tool prepares a bootable drive that can be used to repair a host easily.

According to Microsoft's Intune Support Team, the host PC should have a minimum of 8GB of space and administrative controls to run the tool. Plus, a USB drive with a minimum of 1GB space is a prerequisite and a BitLocker recovery key of the impacted system may be required in select cases. Here are the steps you can utilise to repair an affected machine.
