Elon Musk's X (formerly called Twitter) continues to grab headlines for testing new features. Soon after the announcement that live streaming quality will be improved on X, reports hint that the firm will introduce more Premium plans and other enhancements. In a push for videos, Elon Musk added that the option to upload videos on X in 4K will be available in a month or so.
Here are the top three updates about X you should know:
More X Premium Plans
Currently, the company offers a single X Premium plan for individuals that costs Rs 650/month and Rs 6,800/year on the web. On Android and iOS, the subscription costs Rs 900/month and Rs 9,400/year. However, the company might introduce three new plans. According to @xDaily, these may include Premium Basic, Premium Standard and Premium Plus. The Basic offering will likely show full ads. Standard may display half ads and Premium could come with zero ads.
X Premium will be broken up into 3 tiers:

Premium Plus - No Ads pic.twitter.com/I0CyaQf2ME
The post added that the current plan will transition into the Premium Standard. But, readers must note that ads may still be visible in Profiles and replies. These conditions could only apply to the 'For You' timeline.
Like and Views Count To Go Away From Timeline
Replying to a subscriber on X, Elon Musk said that interaction counts (of likes and reposts) shall be removed from the platform soon. Only the views count will be visible. If a user wants to check the likes and reposts count, they must tap the post.
Also, X Designer Andrea Conway added that X plans to remove the buttons on these two and replace them with "gestural interactions," such as double tapping to like and swiping to reply.
