Elon Musk’s X, which has announced the addition of features like Job Listings and Payments is now testing the new video conferencing feature. With this new feature, the micro-blogging platform now aims to rival tech giants like Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. The X video conferencing will help the users connect for face-to-face professional or individual conferencing.

According to X employee Chris Park, the company tested the X video tool by having an internal conference. He also claimed that the feedback about the video conferencing tool was strong. The company will be working on new features like the ability to pin the speakers and notifications of people joining or leaving.

Not only that, Elon Musk reshared the post and reacted with a fire emoji which confirms that the feature will be rolled out to the public users. As per the app researcher, the users will be able to create new meetings directly within the iOS application. It can be instant or scheduled, a feature which is already present in Google Meet and other platforms.

Another app researcher said that the tool may have a new feature which will let the users set a unique code for each meeting that participants enter when they join. However, the Elon Musk-led team has not announced the X video conferencing feature globally.

Previously, the social media platform introduced the X Video steaming feature via Spaces product. The company also added X videos and audio for users who want to stream bigger videos or hear long-duration podcasts. Tools like Google Meet offer video calls and streaming-like features and there are possibilities that X may also merge the X Live Video Streaming and video calls.
