Xiaomi India has already announced its partnership with Leica and we think that the Xiaomi 14 series may soon be announced in the Indian market. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is expected to launch soon, is now likely to offer Leica-powered camera lenses. This comes after the company shared a post X to announce the partnership hinting it could be the Xiaomi 14 series.
For those who are unaware, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are flagship-level smartphones, and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is scheduled to make its debut, perhaps offering the best-in-class photographic experience. However, there is no official launch date for the Xiaomi 14 series, but we expect the company to reveal it at the MWC 2024 event.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been spotted on GeekBench, BIS, EEC and IMEI databases, which means it will be available in the Indian market as well.
Xiaomi 14 Specifications (Expected):
The Xiaomi 14 is expected to hit the shelves with a 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It may get a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Under the hood, the smartphones are likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12 GB RAM and up to 1 TB storage. The Xiaomi 14 is expected to be backed by a 4,610 mAh battery with 90W wired, 50W wireless and 10W wireless reverse charging and will run on HyperOS.
Speaking of optics, the smartphone may get a Leica branded triple camera setup with a 50 MP Hunter 900 sensor with OIS support, a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may get a 32 MP front camera.
