Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: In view of the Milad-un-Nabi peace processions, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions and diversions across the city on September 14. According to the advisory, traffic restrictions will be imposed from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM to facilitate the Milad-un-Nabi peace processions.
The Milad-un-Nabi peace processions will be carried out to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Check Affected Routes
- The main Milad-un-Nabi processions will pass through five routes across the city. These include a route from Falaknuma to Volta Hotel via Charminar, Yahiya Pasha Dargah to Volta Hotel and back, Mecca Masjid to Haj House in Nampally, Mecca Masjid to Volta Hotel, and Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla, The Hindu reported.
- The Hyderabad Traffic Police will either divert or halt traffic at various routes based on the movement of the Milad-un-Nabi processions.
- Key routes likely to be affected are: Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta X Road, Himmatpura Junction, Volga, Haribowli, Panch Mohalla, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Pattarghatti, Madina Junction, Delhi Gate, Nayapul, SJ Rotary Junction, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Bibi Bazaar, Volta Hotel, Afzalgunj T Junction, Osman Gunj, MJ Market Junction, Taj Island, Nampally T Junction, Haj House and AR Petrol Pump, Nampally.
Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: What Commuters Should Do?
- Authorities have advised commuters to avoid affected junctions and use alternative routes to minimise traffic congestion and ensure smooth Milad-un-Nabi processions.
- In case of emergencies or assistance, commuters can reach out to the traffic helpline at 9010203626.
- The Hyderabad Traffic Police has urged commuters to cooperate with the traffic police and extend their support to ensure the peaceful and smooth conduct of the Milad-un-Nabi processions on September 14.
