Telangana Thunderstorm Alert: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain across Telangana for Thursday as scattered showers continued over the state for the third consecutive day. The weather body has issued a yellow alert in this regard for Hyderabad and other districts. The affected districts include - Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool.

"A thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in several districts," an IMD official said, as per a Times of India report.

Hyderabad is expected to remain partly cloudy. "Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely towards evening or night. Hazy conditions are expected in the morning hours," the official added. On Wednesday, scattered showers also occurred in the northern parts of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad 7-Day Forecast

According to the IMD, April 10 will bring generally cloudy skies, with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers likely in some parts of the city. The minimum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius, while the maximum may touch 38 degrees Celsius.

From April 11 to April 15, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy with haze, and no significant rainfall is predicted. Daytime temperatures are likely to remain high, ranging from 37 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will hover around 24 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius.
