China is the largest apple-producing country globally, with for over half of the world’s apples, which is a massive total of 47,573 kilotonnes annually. China’s apple orchards span over vast regions, with major cultivations in like Shandong and Shaanxi. The country’s dominance in apple market is due to favourable climates, modern agricultural practices, and a strong domestic market that give domestic and export business to the growing nation.
Turkey
Turkey is the second-largest apple-producing country, with over 4,818 kilotonnes of yearly apple production, all thanks to the country's diverse climate. The major apple production takes place in Isparta and Niğde, which supports a flourishing apple industry here. Turkish apples are known for their quality and are exported widely across the world.
United States
The United States, with its 4,429 kilotonnes of apple production, is also dominating the worldwide apple market. It is famous for its apples, like Red Delicious, Gala, and Granny Smith. Washington State is the apple capital of America, thanks to perfect weather conditions.
Poland
Poland is the number one apple producer in Europe, with over 4,265 kilotonnes of yearly production. Apples here are famous for their crispness and taste. India
India is the fifth-largest apple-producing country, with 2,589 kilotonnes a year.
