1. Jewar Airport, Noida

The Noida International Airport will be Asia’s largest Airport, spanning approximately 5,000 hectares. For this, the government has allocated a hefty ₹1,550 crore from the civil aviation budget for land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement. The objective of this airport is to improve regional economic development and reduce traffic at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
2. Navi Mumbai International Airport, Maharashtra
This 2,268-hectare airport is designed to relieve traffic at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. A public-private partnership strategy will be used to finance the project, which is expected to cost ₹16,000 crore. With several runways to accommodate more passengers and contemporary amenities, it is anticipated to grow into a major aviation hub.
3. Parandur Greenfield Airport, Chennai
With a projected budget of ₹20,000 crore, the project spans approximately 4,791 acres. It seeks to establish Chennai as a major aviation centre by supplementing the current Chennai International Airport by managing growing passenger and freight traffic.

Purandar Airport, which spans 2,400 hectares, will be built to handle Pune's expanding air traffic. Funding for the project comes from both public and commercial sources, and its projected cost is ₹14,000 crore. 5. Kalyani Airport, Kolkata
Kalyani Airport, which spans 1,500 acres, is anticipated to reduce traffic at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. Both the public and commercial sectors are contributing to the project's anticipated ₹10,000 crore in finance. It seeks to improve eastern India's connectivity.
6. Bhogapuram International Airport, Andhra Pradesh
Bhogapuram Airport, Andhra Pradesh which covers 2,200 acres, is expected to cost ₹4,592 crore. The region's economic growth and connectivity are anticipated to be enhanced, serving both domestic and foreign tourists.
7. Mopa Airport, Goa
Mopa Airport, which is 2,132 acres in size, is expected to cost ₹3,000 crore. By managing both domestic and international flights and offering cutting-edge passenger amenities, it seeks to improve Goa's tourism and connectivity.

In addition to establishing a brownfield airport and expanding Patna airport, the government has announced plans to build a greenfield airport in Bihar to satisfy the state's future needs. The central has approved ₹459 crore to expand Patna airport at Bihta, which is 32 kilometres distant by NH from Patna. Enhancing connections and promoting regional economic growth are the goals of these efforts.
9. Dhalbhumgarh Airport, Jamshedpur
The Dhalbhumgarh airport is expected to cost ₹100 crore and span 240 acres. By giving Jamshedpur its airport, it hopes to improve connectivity for the industrial metropolis and promote regional growth.
10. Halwara International Airport, Punjab
On 161.28 acres of land, the Halwara International Airport in Punjab, India, is now under construction. The civil terminal is expected to cost about ₹70 crore. Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha International Airport will be the new name of the airport.
