Visa-Free Countries:  Who doesn’t want to travel the world? Sometimes travel restriction makes it difficult for our dreams to come true. However, the good news is that Indian citizens can now visit 59 destinations visa-free, according to the latest Henley Passport Index report for 2025. This is a significant achievement for Indian travellers. This new update will not just give more hassle-free travel experiences than ever before, but also will be the reason for increasing worldwide mobility.

As per the Henley Passport Index report for 2025, India's passport ranks at number 77 in the world, which is low, but allowing access to 59 destinations around Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Oceania, and more beautiful countries is still a win for Indian-origin tourists.

Why 59 Visa-Free Countries Matter to Indian Travellers?

Visa-free travel makes international travel easier as people are saved from long paperwork, embassy visits, and processing charges. For individuals who travel abroad for business trips, or people who want to visit relatives overseas, or people who simply love travelling, this change will bring more impromptu trips and convenient planning.

Instagram-famous holiday locations like Thailand, the Maldives, Mauritius and Indonesia are also visa-free, along with breathtaking locations like Kazakhstan, Fiji, and Vanuatu.

What Are The Types of Visa-Free Access?

  • Visa-Free: No visa is necessary for entry.

  • Visa on Arrival: Get a visa upon arrival at the destination.

  • E-Visa: Apply and be granted a visa online before travel.

Most nations provide a combination of these, usually with special stay times and requirements. Make sure to check current requirements before making bookings for your holidays.
