List of Lowest Total Scores defended in T20 World Cup history: The ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA has witnessed multiple low-scoring but thrilling contests so far.

Most of the teams have capitalised on the assistance provided by the pitch and have put in remarkable bowling performances to restrict opponents to low scores.

Low totals also have been defended successfully in the ninth edition of the tournament with South Africa achieving a massive similar record in their recent match against Bangladesh.

South Africa now hold the record of defending the lowest-ever team total in World Cup history as they clinch a victory by four runs against Bangladesh while defending a target of 114.

The much-awaited India and Pakistan clash also ended up being a low-scoring match which Men in Blue won by just six runs in an emphatic fashion.

The slow nature of pitches in the USA, especially at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York have given rise to this series of low scores.

The highest total at this venue has been 137 in the ongoing tournament which was scored by Canada against Ireland.
